How to issue a power of attorney in Armenia?

A power of attorney is needed in order to remotely:

• receive documents from government agencies,

For citizens of Russia, there are 2 ways to issue a power of attorney in Armenia.
Consular Power of Attorney. Contact the consular department of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Yerevan (Yerevan, Grigor Lusavorich St., 13 "A".). A consular power of attorney is no different from what you could get in Russia: in Russian and drawn up according to the legal standards of the Russian Federation.

Notarised power of attorney. Contact any notary in Armenia.
Armenia is a member of the 1993 Minsk Convention. According to this convention, certain documents issued by notaries in Armenia are recognized in the Russian Federation.

Pros: fast, convenient Minuses: the power of attorney is issued in Armenian. For it to become valid in Russia, you need to translate into Russian and notarize the translation.

For consular power of attorney:

• Submit an online application on the website Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

For notarized power of attorney:

For the consular office, only a passport and a receipt for payment of the consular fee are required.

For a notary - the following documents:

• Internal passport of the Russian Federation;
• Certified translation of the passport into Armenian;
