One Shot Film Festival

All week long, One Shot takes place in Yerevan, a festival of short films (and not only films) that has existed since the beginning of the 2000s. The main focus of the program is on one-minute and one-shot films, but more traditional shorts and even feature films are also featured. In addition to the screenings, there will also be a series of meetings and discussions with directors.

B'AREV Music Festival

A music festival on Lake Sevan in honor of the summer solstice and with an eye on physical and spiritual health, environmental friendliness and other progressive things. In addition to a bunch of DJs and performers (Rozen Tal, D.zuk, Daao, Gigo and others), there will also be a lot of themed entertainment: meditation, yoga, tea ceremonies, lectures and workshops. You can bring your own tent or rent one on site.

Lecture about painting and music

Art historian and writer Zarina Asfari will talk about what polyphonic painting is, about the colors of classical and jazz, and how Pal Klee and Piet Mondrian tried to convey the music of their favorite composers in painting (the first - Bach, the second - Duke Ellington). All this will take place to the accompaniment of live music and as part of a pleasant tea party.

Bloomsday at Common Ground Books & Spirits

Every June 16, Bloomsday is celebrated around the world - a holiday dedicated to the novel Ulysses by James Joyce (the book takes place on this date). In honor of this, the Common Ground Books & Spirits bookstore will host a lecture on the history of the translation of the book into Russian, and then several translators and Joyce scholars will compare translations of Ulysses into different languages and discuss the pitfalls of this difficult task.

Hike to Mount Ajaak

Those who are not afraid of getting up very early can go on a hike to Mount Ajaak - part of the Geghama Range. It will be possible to look at the 500-meter crater of this extinct volcano, as well as look at the Paytasar and Karmir-Qatar mountains, as well as admire the stones with petroglyphs and Vishap Lake.

Picnic trip to the waterfall

Sayat-Nova Festival

A two-day festival of traditional Armenian music will be held in the village of Haghpat, located in the Lori region. Children's trip to Mount Ahavno
