Screening of the cartoon "Mary and Max"
Mary and Max, a modern classic of Australian plasticine animation about an unexpected long-term pen-pal friendship between a little girl from the suburbs of Melbourne and a New Yorker with Asperger's Syndrome, will be screened at the TUMO Cinema Club. Partly autobiographical and, so far, the only feature film by Adam Elliot is the best way to get acquainted with the work of one of the most interesting contemporary animators.

Concert and master class by Lucas Debargue
Lucas Debargue is one of the main young pianists of recent years, who became the opening of the XV International Tchaikovsky Competition in 2015. Debargue was 26 at the time and had begun his formal musical education just six years earlier. Since then, a lot of enthusiastic texts have been written about him, he is actively touring and will visit Yerevan this weekend. On Friday, he will play the Mozart Piano Concerto at the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall, and on Saturday he will give a master class and participate in an open discussion about the complexities of musical interpretation.

Concert Lisokot in the "Ban"
On Friday, Varya Pavlova, aka Lisokot, an experimental artist from Moscow, who works at the intersection of music and performance, will perform at Banya. Using her voice as her main instrument, she reconstructs Soviet songs and composes modern fables about animals, in which quite modern issues are guessed. Pavlova calls her performances “prepared improvisations” and often incorporates the venue of the concert into its very canvas. In addition to Lisokot, this evening there will be noise and ebm from Gertrud Strong, sound experiments from wjerstean, as well as DJ sets from amstrd, elrux and Solow.
