October 14, 2023 Move2Armenia Career spent at Yerevan State University the largest event for the employment of internally displaced persons.
More than 600 Artsakh residents were interviewed for six hours and communicated with representatives of 20 companies in the fields of trade and services, construction and production, delivery and taxi, HoReCa. Among the participants are Zovq, SAS, GG, Yeremyan Projects, KFC, Vega, Art Lunch, Utaxi, Time, Deca 10, Buy.am, Coffeeshop Company, Yerevan Champagne Wine Factory, Grand House, Elit Group, Spitak Tnak Unified Social Service of the Republic of Armenia and a lot others.
Each applicant had the opportunity:
— communicate with the employer in the format of an express interview,
— fill out the form and tell us about your experience,
— ask all questions about the conditions.

In order for as many applicants as possible to find a job at the employment event from Move2Armenia Career, express interviews were organized in the speed dating format. After the survey, applicants interacted with employers from the field that was most relevant to their competencies and experience. It was possible to find out details about the organization and working conditions from HR companies and tell about yourself. Series of express interviews — is one of the ideas proposed during the brainstorm process, in which employers from more than 50+ companies, educational and government institutions took part. As part of supporting internally displaced persons, the Move2Armenia team directed its resources to solving the issues of providing housing and employment for Artsakh residents. Thus, the team prepared a number of studies based on the experience of interviews with PVR organizers from different countries: “Setting up a refugee camp: the experience of organizers and volunteers”. To meet the challenge of employing more than 50,000 Artsakh residents, also with the support Armenian Code Academy October 3, 2023 was strategic session held for representatives of Armenian companies, educational initiatives and the state to discuss together in a brainstorm format support initiatives for internally displaced persons that would cover as many potential applicants as possible. Also the results of the Move2Armenia study were presented, which was conducted among 1,530 internally displaced persons from Artsakh (data October 13, 2023). Among the respondents, 76.2% — are women, 23.8% — are men; age ¾ of whom are from 25 to 45 years.
Zoya Sargsyan, regional coordinator Alliance of Youth Clubs of Artsakh:
“79.3% respondents have higher education. Work experience over the past three years: 28.4% — civil servants, 7.8% in trade, 20.1% in education, while 45.2% received a salary ranging from 100,000 to 300,000 drams, among which half received from 200,000 to 300,000 drams; only 4.4% have no work experience. 87.5% respondents have dependents. Only 1.4% plans to emigrate from Armenia.”
Maxim Shvetsov, director Move2Armenia Career:
“At the brainstorm, which we organized on 3/10/2023 with managers and HR of more than 50 Armenian companies, educational and government institutions, among others, two key ideas were voiced to help forced migrants find employment: “It’s not a shame to work, it’s a shame not to work” and “A job in your company — is a chance for the future for a family from Artsakh.”
These ideas became guidelines for other initiatives, in particular, a more loyal attitude towards applicants who do not have a CV. To give them the opportunity to present themselves to employers, Move2Armenia Career organized a Day of Express Interviews. Move2Armenia Career also initiated a Job Fair on November 25 at Holiday Inn. At this fair, everyone will be able to find a job: internally displaced persons, citizens of Armenia, and relocants.”.
