Joanna Stingraythe American singer, who came to Russia in the 80s, met the members of the then rock scene and began to promote them in the West. On Friday, she will present her autobiography and talk with music critic Alexander Kahn about the red wave of rock.

Canon Concert at Narekatsi Art Institute

Kanon is an Arabic stringed plucked instrument. The Narekatsi Art Institute will host the “Priestess of the Canon” concert dedicated to Angela Atabekyan, professor and People’s Artist of Armenia, who has been working with this instrument all her life – playing, studying and teaching.

Screening of the film "And your mother too"

The TUMO Cinema Club will screen Alfonso Cuarón's And Your Mother Too, one of the most successful Mexican films of all time. Two high school students go on a trip to Mexico and fight for the heart of their 28-year-old travel companion. Starring Gael Garcia Bernal, Diego Luna and Maribel Verdu.

Exhibition "Return Home"

An immersive exhibition about the search for the feeling of home opens in the ArtKvartal space. The organizers promise to create a fantasy house full of comfort and phantasmagoria, the space of which will be saturated with familiar and rethought images. Moving from room to room, the viewer will interact with spaces, hold on to signs, solve riddles, play, listen, look at works of art and try new things.

Children's hike in Dilijan 

Trekking for children to Dilijan National Park. There will be a walk through the forest, a visit to the Matosavank monastery and enjoying the fresh air of this extremely green and picturesque corner of Armenia.

"Sounds of Support"

The Arvestaran Center for Creative Development for People with Autism is holding its first big event at the State Philharmonic of Armenia. During the Sounds of Support there will be three piano music therapy sessions: for adults, for children from 3 to 5 years old and for children from 6 to 10 years old. There will also be a lecture on autism. The purpose of the event is to raise awareness as well as raise funds to open a coffee shop for the Arvestaran community.

Festival from the club "Ban"

The Ban club hosts an experimental music festival in an abandoned sanatorium for the blind. They promise krautrock, ambient, avant-pop and other genre abundance. The program includes live performances from Fyodor Garden, Evgeny Bylina, nystagmus + furr, Node, Solo.operator + dislessnessful, sunlight orchestra + mrg and Tsomas and a bunch of DJ sets. There will also be a Braille workshop.

"Knitting with beer"

Defend Dance in Poligraf

"Scooter" visiting Common Ground

The new Common Ground bookstore will host a meeting with Irina Balakhonova, Editor-in-Chief of Samokat, an independent children's publishing house that has been one of the most important and progressive Russian-language children's literature for more than twenty years.
