One of the most famous parks in Yerevan, “Nor Arabkir”, which is popularly known as “Molokan” park, is located in the administrative district of Arabkir. Many years ago there was a cemetery for Arabkir old-timers here. The park occupies the territory adjacent to Papazyan Street, extending to the Hrazdan Gorge.
New Arabkir Park was designed in 1984. There is a 20-meter high monument “Revived Arabkir”. Two sloping, ascending volumes protruding from the pool and the ground symbolize the determination to unite Eastern and Western Armenia.
30 meters to the left of the monument there are statues of two storks.
