Weekly distribution of free lunches started in Yerevan

Charitable organization Triglinki launched an initiative to distribute free meals for those who are in a difficult life situation. Distributions will be held every Sunday at 17:00 in the courtyard at st. Nairi Zaryana, 72/1. For now, Triglinki staff will be serving one distribution per week, but plan to increase the frequency of meals and the number of servings in the very near future. Such free lunches help people in difficult life situations not only get hot food, but most importantly, feel cared for by the community.

The first distribution of free lunches took place on March 5. The event was attended by about ten volunteers who, together with the organizers, prepared 50 servings of hot food. In the future, the organizers plan to increase the volume of distribution by purchasing additional cooking utensils and attracting more volunteers. In addition, Triglinki collects donations for necessary cooking equipment, as well as food and reusable containers for those who do not have their own dishes.
