In April 1953 In Yerevan, at Moskovyan 40, according to the design of the architect Grigor Aghababyan, the Hov Museum was opened. Tumanyan, where more than 18,000 exhibits are carefully stored. On the second floor of the museum, in a separate room, one of the greatest treasures of the museum is presented - Ov’s personal library. Tumanyan, consisting of about 8,000 volumes of exclusive and versatile books. A copy of the Tiflis "Vernatun" leaves a great impression. The “Lori Gorge” panorama deserves special attention; its inspection is accompanied by music from the opera “Anush”.
To get to this museum, located on a hill in the center of Yerevan, you need to overcome 54 steps: this is how many years the great Armenian lived.
