Description

The National Aesthetics Center (NAC) was founded in Yerevan in 1978 by art critic Henrik Igityan on the basis of the world's first children's art gallery, created in 1970.

The center is dedicated to the development of children's creativity, exhibition, conservation and aesthetic education.

The Center operates the Museum of Children's Creativity, the Department of Arts and Crafts with its numerous studios, two theaters: the Maly Theater, the Metro Theater Studio, the Children's Philharmonic with a dance studio, the Goran Ensemble, as well as the national School of Music. The center also has branches in the cities of various regions of Armenia: Gyumri, Vanadzor, Meghri, Sevan and Goris.
