Museum of Literature and Art named after Yeghishe Charents

The Yeghishe Charents Museum of Literature and Art was founded in 1921. At first it operated as part of the Cultural and Historical Museum of Armenia.
Since 1967 bears the name Yeghishe Charents. The museum houses exhibits of Armenian literature, from the Sayat-Nova era to the present day, as well as manuscripts, letters, personal and scenic objects, photographs, sound recordings, sculptures, paintings, and musical instruments.
The museum has a permanent exhibition called ''From Sayat-Nova to Charents''. In addition to the permanent exhibition, literary and musical evenings, lectures, and meetings with cultural figures are also organized.
