Lecture "The limits of what is acceptable - a test by the series"

Screenwriter and writer Anush Vardanyan will give a lecture on TV series at the Mirzoyan Library. The lecturer promises to talk about the reasons why modern shows allow what can no longer be seen in the cinema, and how the once shameful genre has become one of the main art forms.

Screening of "Pulp Fiction"

Two evenings in a row at the Moscow cinema will show the most famous film by Quentin Tarantino. A collection of three loosely connected scenes from the gang life of Los Angeles with legendary acting performances by John Travolta, Bruce Willis, Uma Thurman and others. The movie may not be the most festive, but in terms of citation and adoration, it can be compared with any New Year's classic. The film will be shown in English with Russian subtitles.

Screening of the film "Minsk"

A political thriller about a young couple who find themselves victims of police violence in the midst of the 2020 Minsk protests. Director Boris Guts used to like to shoot films on a smartphone camera, but in Minsk he chose a different method - the film takes place in one plan without cuts. All this can be discussed with the author after the screening.

Christmas Market by Impact Hub Yerevan

Impact Hub Yerevan, a co-working space, event space, and start-up and business support organization, is hosting a Christmas fair for the third time. Screening of the documentary "Another Long Day" at PES

A documentary about the life of teenagers during the quarantine of 2020. The heroes filmed their own stories, and directors Elena Vanina and Kirill Kulagin edited them into a touching and disturbing statement about time. Film critic Alisa Taezhnaya will talk to the authors after the screening.

Junior Eurovision

Perhaps the main event of this weekend in Armenia will be held at the Sports and Concert Complex named after. Demirchyan. Not everyone will be able to cheer on the participants directly at the competition, but there are many places throughout the city where you can catch the broadcast. For example, you can watch the competition on a very large screen in the Dalma shopping center. For a more intimate atmosphere, you can go to Aeon coworking.

Lecture on the history of Griboyedov's murder

Ban will give a lecture to historian, religious scholar, researcher of culture and gender Konstantin Mikhailov. The speaker promises to tell the story of Griboyedov's murder, full of intrigue and political conspiracies, which is also somehow connected with Armenia. Mikhailov is an extremely charismatic lecturer, so he is unlikely to make you bored.
