Dilijan

Dilijan is a city that is the greenest balneological and mountain climatic resort in Armenia. It is located on the Aghstev River, and traditional Armenian style prevails in all buildings of the settlement.

Dilijan is the name of not only the city, but also the nature reserve within which it is located. The Dilijan Nature Reserve is one of the richest in the vicinity of the entire South Caucasus. Today, the city is part of the country's intelligent settlements, as many artists, composers and directors live there. The settlement has an advantageous geographical location, because a road passes through it, connecting many settlements in nearby regions.

One of the main attractions of Dilijan is the monastery complex called Haghartsin. Also not far from the city there is another similar complex, Goshavank. Among the water bodies, it is worth highlighting the cleanest mountain lake Parz. There are ethnographic and art museums within the settlement. Anyone who wants to stay in the city can stay at one of the many hotels with restaurants serving national cuisine.
