Museum experience with Rambalkoshe

In the space of the Gevorg Grigoryan Museum-Workshop, Rambalkoshe will be reinventing the museum experience for three days. Audio-visual concert Sound and Color

Composer Gayane Aslanyan presents a program at the Cafesjian Center for the Arts dedicated to synesthesia, a phenomenon when a person perceives the stimulus of one organ is transferred to others. One of the famous synesthetes was the composer Alexander Scriabin, whose Prometheus symphony attempts to combine music and color. Aslanyan will perform this “colored” work by Scriabin, as well as music by Ravel and his own.

Screening of the film "Performance"

The Ban Club will host a screening of The Show, one of the most unusual British films of the early 70s, made by a duet of Nicholas Roeg Don't Look Now and Donald Cammell. A presumptuous London gangster is hiding from his former boss and accidentally finds himself a tenant in the house of a fame-weary rock musician (Mick Jagger). The psychedelic personality-swapping thriller, with its crazy editing and aesthetic, predicted many of the twists and turns of popular culture for decades to come.
