DevOps Engineer

Job responsibilities

• Design and implement automation solutions for development, testing, regression and production environments
• Streamline the process for integration with our external partners
• Software development lifecycle automation, monitoring and analysis solutions
• Provide HA for services and servers
• Implement industry best practices
• Keep up to date on modern technologies and trends and advocate for their inclusion within our products and processes when it makes sense
• Move quickly and intelligently - seeing technical debt as your nemesis
• Integrate tools together for cohesiveness and easy traceability
• Maintain robust and easy to use product installers and service tools

Required qualifications

• In-depth understanding of CI/CD concepts
• Outstanding experience with automation tooling such as Gitlab-CI, Jenkins, Ansible, DSC or similar technologies
• Working experience with PowerShell and Bash scripting
• Working experience with web services IIS, Nginx and Apache
• Working experience supporting both Linux and Windows environments
• Working experience with Monitoring and Logging tools such as Azure Application Insights, Zabbix, Prometheus, ELK
• In-depth understanding of application Load Balancing and HA
• Experience with containers/dockers
• In-depth understanding of Git, Gitlab, Team Foundation or similar technologies
• Working experience with Python
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
