Christmas Eve
In the evening, in all the churches of Armenia, the Holy Liturgy of Chragaluys is served - the Lighting of the lamps. As a rule, on this day, believers pray and perform the rite of repentance, after which they can take communion and take lighted lamps and candles from the temple to their homes. Celebrate Christmas with loved ones. The Christmas table is impossible without fish and rice with dried fruits, herbs and wine.

The Nutcracker at the Opera
The main theatrical event of January is Tchaikovsky's ballet The Nutcracker at the National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre.
