Screening of the film "Land of Nomads" at TUMO
TUMO completes its series of screenings featuring Oscar winners. The latest film will be Nomadland, director Chloe Jao's feature film debut about an elderly American woman played by Frances McDormand who, after her husband's death and loss of her job, sells all her belongings and sets out to wander around America in a van. Having previously made a name for herself as a documentary filmmaker, Zhao mixes professional actors and real nomads with their stories in her film. The result is a thoughtful and life-affirming picture that simultaneously captures the isolation and resilience of the American working class.

Screening of "Outlaw" by Jim Jarmusch

Carnival in Haves
