Biologist, journalist and popularizer of science Ilya Kolmanovsky returns to Yerevan with another series of lectures for children and adults - about how man became the most domesticated animal; what prospects and pitfalls are fraught with experiments with genetics; how we succumb to the temptation of "bad" food and how the whole process of eating works.

Screening of the film "Eat, Pray, Love" 

Letters and Numbers Coworking Cinema Club will host a screening of Eat Pray Love, one of the most iconic melodramas of the 2010s from director Ryan Murphy (American Horror Story, Glee). The film is based on Elizabeth Gilbert's autobiographical novel about how, after surviving a divorce, she went on a trip to Italy, India and Bali, and in the process found love and inner peace. In the film, the role of the author was played by Julia Roberts.

Screening of "Another Long Day" at TUMO 

Another opportunity to watch the documentary film by Elena Vanina and Kirill Kulagin "Another Long Day". During the peak of the coronavirus epidemic, eight teenagers, sitting in quarantine, made small films about themselves and their everyday lives. Vanina and Kulagin then edited this material into a full-length story about boredom, isolation and growing up amid great global upheavals. At TUMO in Yerevan, the audience will have the opportunity to discuss the film with the authors.

Art meeting and art master class in PES 

The Yerevan branch of the creative workshop "Makhlovka" continues cooperation with PES. On Sunday, a creative meeting will be held here - guests will be taught how to draw portraits of strangers using watercolor and collage techniques. The practice will be preceded by a lecture on the method, and then the participants will be divided into random pairs. No drawing experience required.

Musical performance "Orpheus" with Chulpan Khamatova 

Actress and social activist Chulpan Khamatova is coming to Yerevan with her musical play Orpheus, which she came up with after leaving Russia in early 2022. First of all, this is an attempt to reflect the Russian-Ukrainian conflict through poetry - texts by Tsvetaeva, Brodsky, Polozkova, Shevchuk and others sound from the stage. The action will take place to the accompaniment of harpist Alexander Boldachev.

Screening of the film "Endless Pool"

Another action-packed sci-fi at the Bana Movie Club is the latest film by David Cronenberg's son, Brandon, about a world in which the wealthy on death row have the right to clone themselves to avoid punishment. Like his father, Cronenberg Jr. has a penchant for flashes of visual violence and social commentary, although he is more direct in his techniques. Starring Alexander Skarsgard and Mia Goth.
